Last time I worked on a project in eclipse it was partially written in notepad, since the ide was constantly crashing.
At first the team thought it was funny and we’d call others whenever we found a new way to break it (hey guys, look at this! enable vertical split, click on the left pane, click on the right, crash).
Hah, I have absolutely no interest in using some giant IDE for coding.
Therefore, even if you give up, I’d still like to try and get platformio running as a lean CLI toolchain as this definitely has my preference.
Besides, then you can use whatever editor you want.
Also I really prefer an opensource solution over some binary-moloch.
