I'm a UX designer and longtime gamer who's messed around with hardware and electronics and IOT. And backed a ton of Kickstarter projects. I got the Pokitto partially for myself and partially for my kids (the best excuse), and also because I've been doing side project research on how we learn, and how kids are taught to code and why.
So far the kids have taken to it on the playing side at least--I'm looking into the code side of it for now so if we have a game idea we could maybe make something together (they're still on the young side for typing syntax). One thing I was thinking they could start with would be designing pixel graphics. Any ideas for tools/processes/workflows for that?
