Doom & Wolfenstein Game Engine books (free!)



This is eerily well timed for reasons I can’t discuss.


There’s a nice little discussion about fixed points starting on page 154, section if anyone’s interested.


I’ve read through these books some time back, very recommended. Another good old engine to study is the Build engine that ran 3D Realms games (Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Shadow Warrior) – it has cool things like voxel model support.
