I have a 3D printer and would love to print a new faceplate with some open ports, but I’d need some kind of OBJ file or whatever to print the shell. Any way I could obtain these files? I understand the consequences of releasing those files, so no biggie if you wish to retain them.

Theres no consequences. You can’t print & injection mold with the same 3D files in any case.
I will release 3D files as well at some point, but the ones used for 3D printed protos are no longer up to date & I have no time to update the CAD at the moment
I can make due with modifying that file for now or even release the modified file for the public to help ya’ out.
